This policy explains what PowerHaus Fitness Center collects about you, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This is the standard template. PowerHaus Fitness Center’s own published version could not be loaded just now. For the version that governs your membership, ask the front desk or check back shortly.
Account details you give us: name, date of birth, email address, phone number, emergency contact, and any health notes you choose to share with a trainer.
Membership and billing records: the plan you are on, invoices, payments, and refunds. Card numbers are held by our payment processor, not by us — we store only a token and the last four digits.
Access records: every time your credential opens a door, and every time it is refused. These records are append-only and are how we investigate an incident or a tailgating report.
Usage you generate in the app: workouts you log, classes you book, and equipment you scan.
To run your membership — take payment, let you through the door, and tell you when something changes.
To keep the building safe. Access logs and camera footage exist so that an injury, a theft, or a forced door can be investigated.
To meet legal and insurance obligations, including retaining signed waivers for as long as the law requires.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Staff see only what their role requires. Front-desk staff can look up a membership; they cannot see payment details. Every privileged action a staff member takes against your record is written to an audit log.
Our processors — payment, email, and hosting providers — see the minimum needed to do their job and are bound by contract.
Law enforcement sees your records only where we are legally compelled, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Membership and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires after your membership ends, then deleted.
Access events and audit logs are append-only and retained for the period set out in our security policy. They cannot be edited, only superseded.
Signed waivers are retained in full, including the exact text you agreed to, because a waiver that has been re-worded after signing protects nobody.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
You can export your workout history and membership records from your account at any time.
You can opt out of marketing email without affecting service email — receipts, access notices, and safety announcements are part of the membership.
